I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying.

Michael Jordan said it best! I am living proof of this way of thinking. I was a below average basketball player and I started playing the game very late. First time I ever played structured basketball was when I was 19 and the first ever proper basketball game was played when I was 17.

When I got to the Tigers I worked extremely hard. I was always the first to practice which saw me get 45 minutes of shooting in and always the last to leave which enabled me another hour of shooting. By the time I turned 20 I was in America playing college basketball.

If I can do it, anyone can do it. If you have a passion for basketball and a dream to play it overseas do the hard work and make the dream reality.

I’d like to hear from you all where this thinking has been applied to your life and what was the outcome. Please comment below.
